Introducing “Life-Line”! The newest original show created by the folks behind the Speedrun Hall of Fame. Life-Line is a competitive game show featuring four speedrunners who claim they’ve never played the featured game. Contestants have four hours to get as far as they can, OR to beat the game.
During their playthrough, they’ll have a number of hints at their disposal:
- Poll the Chat: Viewers will have one minute to vote for the answer they think is correct. At the end of the minute period, the results will be given to the contestant.
- 50/50: The contestant will receive two hints or answers, but one will be incorrect.
- Ask Somebody: Contestants will receive 60 seconds to talk to ANYONE they wish. At the end of the minute, the friend gets booted from the call.
- And the main event: the “Life-Line“: Contestants may ask for a direct hint. HOWEVER, there’s a big catch: once they do, they sit in the penalty box for 2 minutes, unable to move!
Of course, this is all for super serious fun points, so contestants will be refused access to watching the restream, and will not be able to hear the hints that others have been given.
